Fishbowl® (www.fishbowlinventory.com) today announced the addition of Fishbowl Mobile® Warehouse inventory software for use with Fishbowl Inventory® 2010. Fishbowl Mobile allows users to process, transfer and receive warehouse inventory efficiently and in real time.
“So many of our customers are seeking ways to be more efficient and save money in all aspects of their business,” said David K. Williams, CEO of Fishbowl. “Fishbowl Mobile’s features will help streamline processes, reduce time spent managing inventory and dramatically cut human errors. All keys to creating savings.”
Fishbowl Mobile Warehouse integrates with Fishbowl Inventory 2010 and QuickBooks, allowing you to wirelessly manage your inventory. The software can be installed on an unlimited number of scanners within the warehouse. Scanned information is stored in the hand-held device and processed to Fishbowl Inventory at the end of the order, preventing data loss and data errors, common when data is manually entered into the system.
Fishbowl Mobile Offers Three Key Features:
- Receiving: Logging inventory into the system, making changes to quantities received, and entering tracking information can all be done in real time, right off the delivery truck. Fishbowl Mobile even suggests a location inventory can be placed in the warehouse so workers can keep receiving inventory quickly and efficiently.
- Picking: You can combine multiple orders and pick them simultaneously. Instead of printing a pick order, Fishbowl Mobile can guide you through the warehouse in an efficient path to fill orders, reducing picking transmit times and increasing employee productivity.
- Retrieve Part Information: You can quickly and easily look up part descriptions, UPCs and real-time part tracking information. If you go outside of your warehouse’s wireless coverage area, your data is automatically preserved and ready to resubmit once the connection is reestablished.
Fishbowl Mobile Warehouse works on mobile scanners and devices using Microsoft Mobile 5 and 6 and is available now for a one-time fee of $1,595. The price includes lifetime software upgrades.
